Here we introduce Eric Rushmore. Visually and personality wise, he's based off of our friend Eric (Ninja Janai).

It was never really shown, but the guys' dorm is a suite style setup. Based off of the dorms I stayed in at SUNY Plattsburgh, each suite had three double occupancy rooms, a full bathroom, and a common room. For the strip, I added a room, so Peter and Adrian each have their own rooms while Gene and Hiiko share one. The vacant room, as shown here, was turned into a server room by Peter.

I brought in Eric with the hopes of eventually fading Gene out. I really hated him. He started to become my “shit boy” before I wrote him out entirely. From this point out, I really like my dialogue. I got the kinks worked out, and really started to capture my characters with their words. Eventually, Pete was going to take over the apartment downstairs from them and turn it into his server/laboratory. We were also going to do gags about the server room being booby-trapped against Adrian, because like me, his personal energy wreaks havoc with electronics. I can personally crash a Mac with a look. It’s a gift^_^
