This was the result of my first bout of strep throat since the start of the comic. Before having my tonsils removed, I'd get strep throat at the drop of a hat - usually with a 100+ degree fever. I literally AIMed Megami Tuesday night around 8pm asking if she could do a guest strip. She had this to me by 10p or 11p I think.

Ruroni Kenshin was my crack when we began the comic, and I deliberately made Adrian look like Kenshin. We were originally going to have him take cosplay too far, and run around as “Ken-Drian”. We eventually got away from that, but that’s part of the inspiration for Megan’s guest strip. Also, it began the “lets make Gene crossplay” running gag. I really grew to hate that character so much, I just wrote him out.
